We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a commercial real estate portfolio of 3 Class A Office buildings (370,000 square feet) + an adjacent HOA in South Bay. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable management, lease and billing compliance, budgeting support, audit preparation, and year-end reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting experience in commercial real estate and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Track and prepare tenant billbacks

• Manage annual CAM reconciliations alongside the Assistant General Manager

• Prepare tenant termination forms

• Assist with cash management procedures

• Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

• Prepare monthly accruals

• Analyze and execute leases, including abstracting key financial terms and ensuring proper accounting administration

• Prepare and distribute monthly rent statements

• W-9 management

• Administrative duties as needed

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of property accounting experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and RE accounting principles

• Yardi proficient

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with lease administration preferred

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and proficient time management

Estimated compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
