Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist for a large healthcare client in Morris County, NJ. This Inventory Control Specialist will split time between the admin desk and warehouse (approximately 50/50), ensuring inventory accuracy across multiple storage locations. Daily responsibilities include performing cycle counts, verifying lot numbers and expiration dates, managing product recalls, and updating inventory records in the system. The role also involves investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies within Oracle by confirming receipt quantities and coordinating with vendors to correct errors. Candidates will work closely with warehouse staff during replenishment activities to address inventory timing issues, while also handling light administrative duties such as data entry, email correspondence, and a few phone calls each day.

Skills and Requirements

• Ability to update and maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system (ERP, WMS, Oracle, SAP, etc.). • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Comfortable working in a role that is 50% desk-based and 50% warehouse-based. • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with warehouse teams and vendors. • Basic administrative experience, including data entry, emails, and phone communication. 1+ years of inventory control, inventory management, warehouse, or supply chain experience.
