The Joe Schneider Allstate Agency is an established, independently owned insurance agency in Chicago, and we're looking for an experienced, licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.

With more than 8,000 policies in force, we've built our business on strong customer relationships, exceptional service, and taking care of the people who trust us with their insurance needs.

We're looking for someone who already understands the insurance industry, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

If you're currently working for Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, American Family, GEICO, Progressive, or another insurance agency and are looking for a new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

This is primarily a customer service position, not a sales role. However, there are opportunities to earn additional compensation by identifying coverage needs and helping existing customers with additional insurance products.

What You'll Be Doing\n

\n
• Provide outstanding customer service to our existing policyholders
\n
• Assist customers with billing questions, payments, and policy changes
\n
• Process endorsements, renewals, and other policy service requests
\n
• Assist customers with claims questions and guide them through the claims process
\n
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure customers have appropriate coverage
\n
• Proactively help retain customers by addressing concerns and identifying solutions
\n
• Identify opportunities to bundle policies and provide additional coverage
\n
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels
\n
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
\n
• Work closely with our sales and service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• Active Illinois Property & Casualty Insurance License REQUIRED
\n
• Previous insurance customer service experience REQUIRED
\n
• Minimum 1 year of insurance industry experience; 2+ years preferred
\n
• Experience servicing personal lines policies, including auto, homeowners, condo, and renters
\n
• Knowledge of insurance billing, endorsements, renewals, and coverage options
\n
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests efficiently
\n
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
\n
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team
\n
• Experience with Allstate systems or another major insurance carrier is a plus
\n
