Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small-part assessments
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all examinations, explaining the process with empathy and clear communication
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Meticulously document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
