Job Summary

DSI is growing-again!
We are currently hiring Security Officers for ALL SHIFTS in Elk Grove Village, IL with a target start time of October 12th but training will be required to be completed the week prior .

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Essential Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license preferred
• CPR, AED & FIRST AID certifications required before start date
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings

The following shifts are available: MONDAY - FRIDAY & WEEKENDS

• First Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM
• Second Shift - 3 PM to 11 PM
• Third shift - 11 PM - 7 AM

Pay Rate: $21.00
