Details Shared assignment with 1 shift per week in the Recovery Room and 2 shifts per week in Short Stay/MPU pre-op and post-op areas Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Float required between units based on skill set On-call required one night per week and one weekend per 4-week schedule Weekends required only when on-call Patient ratios of 1:2-3 Teaching hospital, short-term acute care facility with 59 total staff beds Uses Epic EMR May be required to float to sister Providence facilities within the region Requirements Active RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission) OR RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across both Recovery Room and Short Stay/MPU pre- and post-op settings Perform pre-op assessments, patient education, and discharge instructions as part of daily duties Scrubs may be any color Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be accepted at a lower bill rate First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles Refusal to float to other units or sister facilities may result in termination of the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-745347.
