Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel PACU/Short Stay Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PACU/Short Stay Registered Nurse to join our team. This role primarily involves working within the Recovery room and the Short Stay/MPU pre-op and post-op care areas. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU and Short Stay departments. Monitor patient recovery post-anesthesia and manage post-operative care. Assist in pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Job Requirements: Must have a valid vehicle for transportation to different units as required. Ability to float to other units based on skill set and patient care needs. Willingness to be on call once per week and cover one weekend per four-week schedule. Expected patient ratios of 1:2-3. Work Schedule: This position involves a flexible schedule with: 1 shift per week in Recovery. 2 shifts per week in Short Stay. Additional Information: Parking is provided at no cost. No block scheduling is required. Charting is completed using the Epic system.
