Department Manager

Job Description We are seeking experienced managers to lead shifts and departments in our locally owned and operated McDonald’s restaurant. The role involves overseeing customer service, food quality, inventory, and staff training to ensure a fast, friendly, and safe dining experience. Responsibilities Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results. Ensure crew and managers deliver great customer experiences, execute sales promotions, train staff in service procedures, and keep front counter and Drive‑Thru areas organized. Maintain food quality and safety standards, control food costs, and train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of qualified crew to meet sales and profit goals, and motivate staff throughout their tenure. Qualifications Previous managerial experience (preferred); previous McDonald’s experience highly preferred. Experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Strong teamwork skills, flexible schedule willingness, and a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment. Aged 18 or older. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay: $21.00 per hour, with potential to earn more based on performance and completion of the training program. World‑class training and development.
