All we ask is that you bring your true self and do all the good you can!MAIN DUTIES:As Pool Bartender you will be responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. Creativity, knowledge of mixology, and excellent customer service skills help establish the operation’s reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks.GENERAL DUTIES:Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendationsCreate a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages with precision and flair, using high-quality ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Continually innovate and introduce new and exciting drink creations.Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and understanding their preferences. Offer recommendations and suggestions based on their tastes, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all orders are prepared in compliance with company standards and specific customer requests.Demonstrate an extensive understanding of classic and contemporary mixology, including various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients. Stay updated on emerging trends and new techniques within the industry.Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.Uphold company policies and procedures, including adhering to work schedules, dress code, and attendance guidelines.Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and proceduresTo ensure that all perishable items used behind the bar are labeled/dated and responsible for rotating and throwing away to maintain quality controlPerforms opening side work and set up stationAttends and participates in any training sessions, department meetingsProper serving of wine and alcohol (with awareness)Properly executes closing proceduresFollow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling proceduresProvides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptlyKeeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stockedProvide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smilingPractice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materialsFollow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelinesHave knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholPerform other related activities as assigned by managementGuarantee neat and quality serviceParticipate in daily shift meetingsFollow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with careFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.Embody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
