Program Manager Master

Program Manager - Master Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Local DMV candidates only) Location: Washington, DC Interviews: In-Person Role Overview The Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of large and complex programs and projects throughout the entire Project Management Lifecycle, including initiation, planning, iterative development, continuous testing, execution, control, and closeout. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact, collaborating across infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS, or on-premise), applications, QA, change management, and customer service support. Duties and Responsibilities Manage relationships with stakeholders, managers, and key software and services vendors. Provide thought leadership for IT system implementations, applications, and business processes. Oversee daily project implementation, including defining deliverables, sprints, schedules, and backlogs. Lead teams through all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using waterfall and agile methodologies. Create project plans, resource plans, program metrics, and communication plans. Develop analytics to support delivery and executive decision-making. Identify project and resource dependencies to ensure schedule adherence. Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and steering committees. Motivate and coach project team members to ensure high performance and timely delivery. Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field. Required: PMP, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other Agile/ScrumMaster certification. Qualifications Minimum of 12 years of experience managing concurrent initiatives of varying sizes. At least four individual multi-year project implementation experiences. Proven success leading initiatives within an agile environment. Strong leadership skills: ability to motivate teams, foster trust, encourage innovation, and provide effective coaching.
