American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit, requiring 2 years of experience and BLS certification.
35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit staffed by a multidisciplinary rehab team of PT, OT, ST, aides, and clerical staff
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient caseload of approximately 1:4, with 4 IRF patients per day per therapist
Equipment includes lift equipment, adaptive devices, exercise equipment, and an outdoor training patio
Charting completed in Meditech, transitioning to Expanse in October 2026
No call requirements
Active Florida OT license (if applicable)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience required
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Perform evaluations, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, ADLs, and functional task training
Provide patient, family, and caregiver training and education
Flexible and adaptable candidates who can work well independently are preferred
Willingness to work weekends and holidays is preferred
Gray or black scrubs required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
