PRODUCTION MANAGER

Position Summary Oversees production supervisors and production activities. Works under guidance of Operations Manager and Head of Operation. Reviews SOPs with upper management and assists with training needs. Works with Operations Manager on development plans of Production Supervisors. Oversees packaging and performs daily audits to determine any issues. Primary Accountabilities Oversee daily production of nitrile glove lines. Communicate accurate production status updates to upper management, including lot status, equipment issues, training requirements, and production delays. Maintain constant communication with supervisors regarding production and training goals and any additional requirements such as line improvements. Ensure adequate staffing to maintain utility equipment effectively and efficiently; provide 24‑hour support to staff. Lead with integrity and morale within the shift, promoting teamwork and efficiency; notify upper management and production scheduling of any delays or deviations from the shift schedule. Train supervisors to troubleshoot production issues; ensure unresolved or recurring issues are escalated promptly and communicated to management. Review Paylocity data and communicate needs with supervisors. Maintain employee reviews and obtain management approval. Perform all other duties as assigned or apparent. Conduct audits with supervisors to ensure raw materials are accurately documented and correctly unloaded to the 100‑ton tank; provide feedback to management. Ensure procedures are written and enforced. Provide backup and assistance to other production line supervisors as necessary. Qualifications Associate’s degree or 4‑6+ years of equivalent experience. Ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Must pass a drug test. Must speak, write, and read English. Broad perspective that aligns decisions to organizational objectives and long‑term consequences of day‑to‑day activities. Ability to create and contribute to an environment that values safety, people, trust, teamwork, open communication, participation, learning, and recognition. Ability to manage oneself effectively, demonstrate integrity, remain productive under pressure, and achieve departmental goals. Physical Demands Position requires lifting (up to 50 lbs.), vision (20/20), bending (waist to floor), climbing (on a ladder), reaching (floor to overhead), standing (30 %), sitting (30 %), walking (40 %), gripping, talking, and hearing. Safety Incumbents are required to wear PPE as assigned by management. Incumbents may also need to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, laboratory coats, and other non‑specified protective equipment as necessary.
