Citizen Advertising is growing, and we're looking to add a talented Paid Search / Paid Social Specialist to our team!

You'll work closely with our VP of Strategy to create, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

We're looking for someone who has real, hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns, enjoys digging into performance data, and takes pride in helping local businesses grow.

We're open to a range of experience levels, from an up-and-coming digital media buyer to an established professional with years of proven success. Compensation will reflect the experience, expertise, and value you bring to our team.

Who You Are

You might call yourself a Digital Media Buyer, PPC Specialist, or Performance Marketing Specialist. Whatever the title, you know your way around Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, understand how to turn advertising dollars into measurable results, and genuinely enjoy the process.

You're curious, analytical, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You understand that successful advertising requires more than launching a campaign and checking the numbers occasionally. It takes consistent attention, thoughtful strategy, testing, and a willingness to make changes when something isn't working.

Most importantly, you care about the businesses behind the campaigns and the people trusting you with their advertising budgets.

What You'll Do

• Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Manage advertising budgets with a focus on generating measurable business results.
\n
• Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities, and make strategic adjustments to improve results.
\n
• Collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to develop messaging and advertising that connects with the right audiences.
\n
• Monitor key performance indicators, including conversions, cost per lead, return on ad spend, and other metrics that matter to our clients.
\n
• Help troubleshoot campaign performance, conversion tracking, and other technical challenges.
\n
• Prepare performance reports and communicate meaningful insights and recommendations.
\n
• Stay current with changes in digital advertising platforms, tools, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience personally managing paid digital advertising campaigns, preferably for local or small to mid-sized businesses.
\n
• Google Ads certifications and demonstrated experience working within Google Ads.
\n
• Practical experience managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager.
\n
• Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), conversion tracking, and campaign performance metrics.
\n
• Solid copywriting skills and an understanding of what makes advertising effective.
\n
• The ability to analyze data, diagnose problems, and make decisions based on performance.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and personal accountability.
\n
• A self-motivated attitude and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
\n
• A genuine interest in helping local businesses succeed.
\n

Experience with Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, TikTok Ads, or other digital advertising platforms is a plus.

Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and the value you bring to our team. A Few Important Details

This is a full-time, on-site position at our office in Knoxville, Tennessee.

We are specifically looking for someone with direct experience managing paid advertising campaigns. This is not an entry-level training position, and we're not seeking freelancers, contractors, or remote candidates.

If you're currently outside the Knoxville area, you must be willing to relocate and work on-site.
