Clinical Psychologist – Nassau, NY Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological evaluations and ongoing services for children with special needs in homes, community, and clinic settings across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Wage & Compensation Evaluations: $130.00–$350.00 per evaluation. Benefits Flexible work schedule Paperless billing and data collection system (training provided) Support from clinical supervisors and administrative staff Financial educational assistance program (when applicable) Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) Job Responsibilities Administer psychological evaluations in home and/or school‑based settings Gather necessary information to conduct social histories Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories, and submit in a timely manner Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals Determine need for additional assessments based on observation and child needs Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and state & federal regulations, and submit records to agency within established deadlines Qualifications Passion for working with children and families Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license Self‑motivated, team player with patience and professionalism Fluency in a language other than English is a plus Physical Requirements Able to travel to assigned cases, including driving, walking or using public transportation Can ascend and descend staircases Can lift 10 pounds regularly Can sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time Location Nassau, NY.
