Maintenance Mechanic

About the Role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems that support Reworld’s industrial disposal processes. Responsibilities Complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to avoid equipment breakdowns and production downtime. Use root‑cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages, collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Prioritize work to minimize downtime and must complete mandatory documentation in the computerized maintenance management system. Open and close work orders, check out spare parts, and perform other plant activities as required. Repair, maintain, assemble, disassemble, and replace industrial machinery or equipment, ensuring proper function. Inspect and evaluate machinery to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices. Review maintenance reports and statistics to adapt maintenance plans. Inspect machines for compliance with safety and performance standards. Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; preferred. Minimum of 2–4 years experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. Ability to work rotating shift schedule. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with day‑one benefits including health insurance, PTO, retirement savings plan and 401(k) match. Hourly rate: $42.27 per hour, annualized to approximately $73,807–$101,445 based on location. Physical Demands Walk, stand, sit, climb, lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Work from heights, in confined spaces, in various weather conditions. Wear full‑face respirator as required.
