Our values-Execute, Protect, Improve, and Character-drive every job we do.The Role:The Piping Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of mechanical piping systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings. What You'll Do:Thorough knowledge in the mechanical piping trade in either welding (carbon steel pipe), pipe fitting, or bothWelding experience a plus - Stick welding on pipeAbility to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprintsWork as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprenticesMust be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed - you will not weld all day, every day.
