As a Carpenter specializing in residential projects, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing building frameworks and structures. This role requires working both independently and as part of a team, often traveling frequently between job sites. You will utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut materials precisely according to blueprints
- Install frameworks, fixtures, and finishing elements on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Perform finishing work to ensure high-quality results
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work site
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Skilled in measurement and layout techniques
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Committed to safety compliance
- Effective teamwork skills
