Position Details

?? Location: Redford, MI

?? Start Date: August 24, 2026

? Contract Length: 9 Months

?? Hours: 35 Hours per Week

?? Setting: School-Based, In-Person Only

?? Pay Rate: Up to $70/hour

Openings Available

Position 1

• Grades: K-6

• Caseload: Approximately 45 students

Position 2

• Grades: 7-12

• Caseload: Approximately 40 students

Responsibilities

• Conduct student evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with student needs

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals

Requirements

? Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Michigan

? CCC-SLP preferred (and may be required depending on contract requirements)

? Compliance with professional standards of practice

? Current CPR certification (if applicable)

? TB screening/PPD/chest x-ray (if applicable)

? Current health certificate (if required)

? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

? Must be at least 18 years of age

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
