At GDIT you'll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Systems Administrator, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.Administer, manage, and maintain Windows servers 2016 and 2019Responsible for Windows Server patching in an operational environmentExperience with one or more of the following: Domain controllers, Active Directory, DNS servers, DHCP and Group Policy ObjectCreate, manage, and maintain accounts and groups in Active Directory, LDAPExperience with PowerShell scriptingMonitors system environments and resourcesAnalyze, troubleshoot, resolve, and documents problems with business applications and hardware on all enclavesExperience deploying DISA STIGs controls and system complianceOversees system recovery mechanismsExhibit the capability to resolve issues independentlyCoordinate, communicate, escalate required changes, and major issuesHelp diagnose and resolve computer-related problems as requested by employees and contractors, either in person or by using remote control softwareRespond to telephone calls and email requests for technical supportAccurately documents all work in ServiceNowWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
