The work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Development division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.Responsibilities for this position include:Initiate and resolves service request/problem incidentsConsult with the user community to resolve technical problems and answer queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systemsUsing problem solving skills, diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical database recordsRoute calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialistsMaintains and updates records and tracking databasesAlerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problemsWorks with system administrators and developers to ensure services/incidents are completedProvides an outstanding customer service experience in a variety of circumstances across all organizational levelsWhat you'll need to succeed (required):Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance required.Required Experience: 2+ years of IT support experience in a Help Desk environmentExperience with Cisco switches and routersRequired Certifications: Security+ CEEducation: High School Diploma. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.95 - $31.05. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
