Emergency room rn ratios: 1:4 years of experience req: minimum of 2 years er experience first-timers accepted: yes holiday shifts and charge rn assignments as needed per unit. Weekend req: 8 weekend shifts in saint luke's 6-week schedule period, combination of f/s/s. Certs req: acls, bls, nihss, pals, tncc. Cpi and mab preferred. Skills req: work settings: general emergency department-combined adult/pedi. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Iv therapy/phlebotomy: central line care/management. Medications: continuous iv sedation, iv vasopressors. Respiratory: cpap/bipap, ventilated patients. Professional topics and skills: isolation precautions triage. Skills preferred: work settings: stemi certified facility, stroke certified facility. Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: interpretation of dysrhythmias. Iv therapy/phlebotomy: arterial line management. Respiratory: interpretation of abgas. Is on-call req? no will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? yes, regular floating may be required between ed hold area, departments, units and facilities as needed. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor personnel is assigned facility information: non trauma emergency department primary stroke & stemi center. Typical ed patient diagnosis, occasional ob patients and may require management of mother/baby until transferred out.
