Job Overview As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay, creating customers for life. Responsibilities Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times. Oversee day-to-day activities of Housekeeping. Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to ensure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards. Change linens, make beds, and keep bathrooms sparkling. Restock all guest room supplies such as soap and shampoo. Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for next day before shift ends. Remove trash and dirty linen. Greet guests with a friendly smile. Ensure all rooms are inspected according to standards. Protect equipment and ensure no inadequacies. Adhere strictly to health and safety rules. Work with little supervision and maintain high performance. Prioritize and manage time effectively. Work quickly without compromising quality. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning to ensure quality standards. Coordinate efforts with Front Office, Laundry, and Maintenance. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms. Handle guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance as needed. Work with Maintenance on guest room maintenance needs. Assist in lost and found procedures. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and accidents. Comply with all company and brand standards. Requirements To be a successful Housekeeping Supervisor you need a professional demeanor, clear communication skills, and a clean uniform. This role requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
