Financial Controller

Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan's Heartland is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our Accounting Department and serve as a strategic partner to our Chief Financial Officer. This leadership role oversees all accounting operations, including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, audits, internal controls, tax reporting, and cash management while supervising the accounting team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical accounting expertise, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to provide timely financial insights that support organizational decision-making. Experience with ERP systems and process improvement is highly valued. Required Qualifications: Active CPA license (Required) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 10+ years of progressive accounting experience 5+ years of supervisory experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, auditing, and internal controls Join a mission-driven organization where your financial leadership helps support our mission of Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
