This contract position near Lapwai, ID, is an excellent choice for those who want to provide personalized, on-site therapy for students who benefit from in-person care. This assignment is open immediately and will extend through May 2027, offering steady hours once a week. You’ll step in to support a student at a parent’s request, collaborating with an established virtual OT to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Active Idaho OT license is required
• Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services one day per week (8 hours) on-site
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate effectively with virtual OT, teachers, and staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support
• Maintain timely and precise documentation related to evaluations, progress notes, and IEP goals
• Engage with families and caregivers, responding to questions and offering guidance as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
