Salary: $120,000–$160,000 depending on experience

About the Role
We are hiring an Associate Attorney for a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm in Santa Ana, CA.

This is an opportunity for an attorney with litigation experience who wants meaningful responsibility, hands-on case ownership, and the opportunity to continue developing as a trial attorney.

The ideal candidate has experience handling litigation matters and wants to build a long-term career in a collaborative boutique firm environment. Attorneys with plaintiff personal injury experience are strongly preferred, but strong civil litigators with transferable experience will also be considered.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking attorneys with approximately 2–5 years of litigation experience, including candidates with experience in plaintiff personal injury, civil litigation, or other litigation-focused practices.

• Has strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Is comfortable managing increasing responsibility
• Enjoys client interaction and case strategy
• Wants to continue developing as a litigator

Requirements
Must have:

• Active California Bar license
• Litigation experience as an attorney, post-bar law clerk, or equivalent role
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities

Strong transferable backgrounds may include:

• Insurance defense

What You Will Do

• Manage and support plaintiff personal injury litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers
• Work with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy
• Assist with trial preparation and case resolution
• Develop the skills necessary to independently manage complex litigation matters

Compensation

Base salary is $120,000–$160,000 depending on experience.

Compensation will be based on litigation experience, background, and overall qualifications.
