We originate and acquire asset-backed loans and distressed notes secured by land, retail, industrial, multifamily, and other commercial assets — typically $4M–$20M per deal. Our firm is entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and highly collaborative. We are building a modern origination platform that combines relationship-driven commercial real estate lending with disciplined outbound marketing, data-driven lead generation, digital content, and emerging AI tools. We are seeking a full-time Digital Marketing, Data & Technology Analyst to own and execute C2R’s digital marketing engine. Role Overview This is not a narrow social media or content role. We are looking for someone who wants to own the marketing operating system for a growing private credit platform. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, resourceful, and highly execution-focused. You should be comfortable managing outbound email campaigns, building prospect databases, maintaining clean CRM data, publishing website and LinkedIn content, tracking performance, testing new tools, and turning marketing ideas into repeatable systems. This person will not simply execute tasks. They will help develop, test, and implement C2R’s broader digital origination strategy. The role also requires curiosity around AI and marketing technology. We do not expect a full-stack engineer on day one, but we want someone who is actively using AI tools, willing to learn quickly, and excited to help C2R build proprietary internal workflows, automations, dashboards, lightweight web apps, and enterprise-use AI tools as the technology evolves. The role requires someone who is: Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Highly organized and willing to own execution from idea to launch. Interested in commercial real estate, private credit, and capital markets. Strong enough technically to manage systems, data, workflows, and reporting. Curious about AI and willing to learn new tools in real time. Focused on generating qualified deal flow, not vanity marketing metrics. Responsibilities Develop and execute C2R’s digital marketing strategy in coordination with senior leadership. Generate new ideas for campaigns, outreach angles, content themes, lead-generation sources, and market positioning. Translate C2R’s lending strategy, closed deals, market views, and target borrower profile into actionable marketing campaigns. Identify new target audiences, referral channels, industry themes, and deal-source segments to test. Build monthly and quarterly marketing calendars across email, LinkedIn, website content, deal announcements, and market commentary. Monitor what is working across campaigns and recommend changes to improve qualified deal flow. Manage and execute cold email campaigns through platforms such as Instantly or similar tools. Manage warm email campaigns through platforms such as Apollo or similar tools. Build and maintain segmented drip campaigns by target audience, including brokers, bankers, sponsors, developers, attorneys, accountants, lenders, title firms, and other deal sources. Help write, test, and refine campaign copy, subject lines, calls-to-action, and follow-up sequences. Use closed-deal announcements, market commentary, industry articles, and C2R’s lending criteria to support outbound campaigns. Monitor deliverability, bounce rates, unsubscribes, replies, positive replies, and domain/inbox performance. Protect C2R’s primary domain and business inboxes while scaling outbound activity through appropriate secondary-domain infrastructure. Coordinate cold-to-warm handoffs so engaged prospects are properly tagged, nurtured, and tracked. Lead Generation, List Building & Data Management Build and maintain high-quality prospect lists for C2R’s target markets and referral sources. Source leads through ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn, SigParser, public records, CRE databases, permit data, property records, conference lists, web research, and other tools. Research and organize prospects by role, geography, deal relevance, relationship status, source, and campaign type. Identify buying signals such as recent acquisitions, development activity, loan maturities, refinance windows, distressed situations, bankruptcy/workout activity, and relevant market events. Manage email verification, deduping, suppression lists, list hygiene, and CRM updates. Track which sources and campaigns produce actual qualified inquiries and submitted deals. Maintain source-level reporting so C2R can understand which lead sources are working. Website, LinkedIn & Content Manage routine website updates, landing pages, deal-closing pages, case studies, bios, and content updates. Help turn C2R-provided deal information and market commentary into polished external-facing content. Draft and publish LinkedIn posts for C2R and senior team members. Create and distribute deal announcements, quarterly market updates, short industry articles, and thought-leadership content. Coordinate graphics, tombstones, visuals, and basic design needs with internal or external resources. Support SEO, AI search / answer-engine visibility, internal linking, metadata, and website conversion. Track website traffic, form submissions, LinkedIn engagement, and inbound lead sources. Use website and LinkedIn engagement signals to inform lead generation, segmentation, and follow-up strategy. Build and maintain a marketing dashboard showing cold email, warm email, lead generation, LinkedIn, website, and deal-flow performance. Track sends, replies, positive replies, bounces, unsubscribes, qualified inquiries, submitted deals, and source-level conversion. Prepare concise weekly updates for senior leadership. Maintain forward calendars for campaigns, website updates, LinkedIn posts, and content. Identify underperforming lists, campaigns, sources, or messages and recommend changes. Keep clean records of campaign activity, lead sources, suppression lists, and follow-up status. Create reporting that shows not only activity, but which sources, campaigns, and channels are generating real qualified deal flow. AI, Automation & Marketing Technology Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Clay, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms to improve marketing workflows. Help C2R experiment with proprietary AI workflows for internal use, including lead enrichment, deal triage, research, reporting, CRM updates, dashboards, and internal web apps. Work with leadership to identify repetitive marketing, data, and origination tasks that can be automated or improved using AI. Stay current as AI tools evolve and recommend practical applications for C2R’s origination, marketing, and data workflows. Support the development of internal systems that make C2R’s marketing and origination platform more scalable. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, finance, real estate, data analytics, information systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered. 2–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, lead generation, RevOps, sales operations, B2B outbound marketing, or a similar execution-focused role. Hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns, including cold outreach, warm relationship campaigns, drip sequences, list segmentation, and campaign performance tracking. Familiarity with marketing and data tools such as Instantly, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Airtable, Monday, Zapier, Make, Webflow, Framer, Google Analytics, or similar platforms. Strong writing skills, with the ability to turn technical, financial, or transaction-based information into clear marketing copy, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, and website content. Strong data management skills, including list building, deduping, tagging, email verification, CRM hygiene, source tracking, and campaign organization. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRMs, campaign dashboards, marketing automation tools, and reporting systems. Understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, domain management, warm/cold outreach differences, suppression lists, and list hygiene. Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to learn quickly as new tools emerge. Preferred Experience Prior experience in commercial real estate, private credit, lending, banking, capital markets, investment management, or B2B financial services. Experience building or managing outbound marketing systems at meaningful volume while protecting domain reputation and deliverability. Experience building prospect lists from non-obvious sources, including public records, property databases, permit filings, industry directories, conference lists, LinkedIn, and web research. Experience using data enrichment, email verification, scraping, or prospecting tools to improve lead quality and segmentation. Experience connecting marketing activity to measurable business outcomes, such as qualified inquiries, submitted opportunities, pipeline, revenue, or closed transactions. Experience with no-code / low-code tools, internal dashboards, workflow automation, AI workflows, or lightweight internal web apps.
