Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite - Monday to Friday)

Duration: Long-Term Contract
Rate:- $45-50. W2 given to candidate

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support, secure, and maintain a large-scale enterprise network environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with firewall administration, network security technologies, incident response, and enterprise infrastructure support in production environments.


Network Security, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, Routing & Switching, VLANs, Network Segmentation, VPN (IPsec/SSL), IDS/IPS, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Packet Analysis, Wireshark, Network Troubleshooting, Enterprise Security Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity Operations.


Required Skills

• 5+ years of enterprise Network Security Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Cisco Firewalls (Required)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, Routing & Switching
• Experience with VLANs, Network Segmentation, and Access Controls
• Expertise in VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN)
• Experience with IDS/IPS , threat detection, and prevention technologies
• Security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability remediation experience
• Strong network troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark
• Experience supporting enterprise security infrastructure in production environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall environments (Palo Alto/Cisco)
• Monitor network security infrastructure and respond to security incidents
• Implement and maintain VPN, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation solutions
• Analyze network traffic, troubleshoot connectivity and security issues, and perform packet analysis
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to ensure secure network operations
• Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
