Payroll Processing Assistant

Ensure the accurate and timely packaging and delivery of multi company payroll checks to multiple locations. Assist with various administrative tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare client payroll package for shipping according to company procedures
  • Ensure payroll checks are secure in envelopes and the check count matches what is indicated on the checklist
  • Prepare and coordinate items for distribution with payroll
  • Organize reports for distribution with payroll
  • Create shipping labels and verify recipient address to ensure accurate delivery
• Biweekly mail merge to create, print and mail termination letters
• Monitor notifications for shipping delays that will result in late packages
• Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or delays
• Maintain shipping address book and update as needed
• Inventory management of shipping supplies
• Ensure confidentiality of payroll documents during handling and shipping

Experience: Entry level, will train

Specific Skills Needed:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Accurate and detail oriented
• Strong organization skills
• Strong oral communication skills

Salary based on experience is up to $55,000. This role is full time in the office 5 days a week.
