About the Role:

As a Dietary Cook at Havencrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals. As a key member of our Dietary team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards

• Assist with menu planning, and inventory management

• Work closely with the dietary department to ensure seamless meal service and resident satisfaction

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation and service

• Adhere to diet order and special requirements for residents with specific dietary needs

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a similar role (training provided for the right candidate)

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
