Field Engineer

Working alongside the Superintendent and Project Team, the Field Engineer supports field operations, scheduling, coordination, and site management activities to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to SC Builders quality standards.

The successful Field Engineer at SC Builders consistently demonstrates:

4. The ability to support subcontractor coordination and maintain positive working relationships on site.
5. A proactive approach to schedule management, quality control, and daily field operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily jobsite supervision and coordination of subcontractors and trades.
• Support project scheduling and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Write thorough Daily Job Reports.
• Schedule city and special inspections.
• Assist with pre-punch and punch list management.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and review subcontractor as-builts.
• Support project closeout and final permit activities.
• Help proactively identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality.
