About the role The Medical Office Assistant works in the medical office completing a variety of tasks to ensure patient care, office readiness, and organizational growth. Responsibilities include interacting with patients in person, via Zoom and phone for scheduling, check‑in, toxicology, and check‑out; interacting with community partners to secure referral sources; maintaining the office; and attending community events on behalf of the company. Travel between offices in Greensburg, Connellsville, Latrobe, and Monroeville is required; travel is paid. What you'll do Provide outstanding customer service and greet patients Check patients in and out Verify insurance information Collect co‑pays/payments due Deposit cash at the bank Answer phones and return messages Schedule new and existing patients Collect drug‑screen samples Create and maintain a clean and welcoming office environment Enter data, run reports, audit and file records Manage, update, and chart patient records in an electronic medical records system (EMR) Create and maintain community partnerships Assist patients and providers with referrals to community partners Attend community events on behalf of the organization Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation Perform other office duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) U.S. work authorization (required) Valid driver’s license (required) Customer service experience (required) Office experience (preferred) EMR experience (preferred) Previous medical office experience (preferred) Schedule and Compensation Schedule: Weekdays (hours vary) and every other Saturday Compensation: $16‑$19 per hour depending on experience, plus paid travel Benefits: 401(k), life insurance, disability insurance, dental and vision insurance Additional Details Pay range by location: $16‑$19 per hour (Greensburg, Latrobe, Connellsville, Monroeville) #J-18808-Ljbffr Regard Management PA LLC
