Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning architectures that solve mission-critical business challenges at scale
• Partner with C-suite executives and business leaders to translate strategic objectives into comprehensive data science roadmaps and deliver measurable business value
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analytics professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring enterprise-grade data quality, security, and accessibility across the organization
• Design and oversee rigorous experimental frameworks and A/B testing methodologies to validate hypotheses and inform strategic decisions
• Develop compelling executive-level visualizations and presentations that translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
• Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for data science projects across teams
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and methodologies, evaluating and implementing cutting-edge tools and techniques
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of data science solutions into production environments

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• 7+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles, with at least 2+ years in a senior or leadership capacity
• Expert-level proficiency in Python or R, with demonstrated ability to write production-quality code
• Deep expertise in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, causal inference, and advanced data visualization techniques
• Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases; proven ability to optimize complex queries and manage large-scale data infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, or equivalent)
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and translating technical insights into business impact
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, from technical teams to executive leadership
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with demonstrated ability to identify high-impact opportunities

Nice-to-Have Skills

• PhD in a quantitative field or advanced certifications in machine learning and data science
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake)
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and neural network architectures
• Experience building and scaling machine learning operations (MLOps) and model deployment pipelines
• Published research or contributions to open-source data science projects
• Background in causal inference, econometrics, or advanced experimental design
• Experience mentoring and building high-performing data science teams
• Domain expertise in finance, healthcare, technology, or other relevant industries
