Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful patterns from large datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings
• Create compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate complex analytical results to stakeholders at all levels
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and accessibility
• Monitor model performance and continuously optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency
• Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for knowledge sharing and reproducibility

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related role
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and big data technologies
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
• Portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing data science projects
• Experience in your industry or domain
