Concierge Position

We are seeking a positive, compassionate, customer service-focused team member for the Concierge position. The Concierge promotes a professional and friendly organizational image. Acts as a liaison between the residents, their families and employees. Provides clerical and secretarial support.

Responsibilities:

1. Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate staff members.
2. Coordinate transportation for Residents; scheduling drivers accordingly
3. Coordinate outside transportation for Residents with other sources such as ambulance services and care appointment services.
4. Create daily transportation schedule for Drivers to accommodate resident need.
5. Greets family members and guests.
6. Maintains the visitor and resident sign in/out logs.
7. Provides clerical support to the various departments, i.e. data entry, filing, mailings, typing, menus
8. Assist residents with the completion of maintenance orders.
9. Respond to emergency calls from residents.

Other Duties:

1. Schedule use of meeting rooms.
2. Distribute facility mail.
3. Maintain and update resident logs and facility phone lists.
4. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Education: High School Diploma or GED.
2. Training and Experience: Experience with office equipment preferred.
3. Certifications and Licenses: None
4. Job Knowledge: Able to use computer, phone, copier, and fax machines. Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
