Part Time Medical Assistant

Integrated Wound Care is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses during wound care rounds in long-term care facilities, as well as managing medical supplies and patient information. Responsibilities Record patients' wound information as dictated by the provider Assist physicians and nurses with wound care procedures Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner Assist with administrative tasks, such as sending documentation to the appropriate department Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program Current Medical Assistant certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in using electronic medical records systems Some experience in wound care is preferred Benefits Flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends Pay is based on experience Additional Information Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Part-time Job function: Healthcare Provider Industries: Healthcare #J-18808-Ljbffr Integrated Wound Care
