Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.What your day-to-day will look like:Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directedReplace lighting and ballastsClean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.Complete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduledComplies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.Update work order status in real time using our CMMS systemEscalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely mannerAttend work and safety meetings as requiredAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, HVAC systems, basic plumbing, and basic electricalMechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read and understand a one line/ladder diagramPhysically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate a motor vehicleAbility to lift up to 60 lbs., climb a 30-foot ladder, and perform frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overheadStrong customer service skills and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to read and write reports clearly and thoroughly and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in greenhouse environmentsExperience with greenhouse climate systemsElectrical experience and wire running capabilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and in team environmentsExperience operating electric hand tools and motor vehiclesPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:Ability to visually inspect machinery and buildings.Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly. Able to work on roofs of buildings – able to safely perform overhead work while standing on a ladder.Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle.Location: Onsite - Woodland, CAThis position is on 3rd Shift, Tuesday-Saturday 11:00PM-7:30AM with possible on-call responsibility.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
