Director of FP&A

Director of FP&AA client of ours is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis. This highly visible leadership position plays a critical role in supporting executive decision-making by delivering financial insights, driving planning processes, and providing a comprehensive view of company performance across all business functions. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Director of FP&A will oversee a small team while collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization, including Accounting, Treasury, Human Resources, Investor Relations, Legal, and operational business leaders.Responsibilities of Director of FP&A Lead the organization's consolidated forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across multiple business units.Develop and maintain accurate financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and variance drivers.Provide actionable recommendations and forward-looking analyses to executive leadership and business partners.Collaborate with finance teams across the organization to ensure alignment of assumptions, methodologies, and reporting standards.Support strategic planning initiatives through scenario modeling, business case development, and ad hoc financial analysis.Partner with Human Resources to evaluate and model compensation programs, including annual incentive and long-term reward plans.Assist in the preparation of executive, board-level, and leadership presentations.Drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and decision support.Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proficient growth.
