A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER As our Construction Project Manager, you are an essential component of our business's success. From start to finish, you steer the wheel and help guide our projects to completion. In the beginning stages, you lay down the framework for the projects by developing budgets and estimates, and by creating preliminary schedules. You work closely with multiple teams and departments to ensure all permits, boundaries, and requirements are set in place before the project begins. Throughout all stages of the project, you supervise your engineers and crews to ensure they complete high-quality work. You coordinate teams to ensure the projects are completed on time and within the budget. Periodically, you prepare agendas for various meetings with the project teams to check in on progress and to help answer questions or misunderstandings. Paying strict attention to details, you see the projects through to completion while continuously searching for ways to improve the results. You take great pride in helping our company produce grade A work! Willingness to travel in market based on project location (O) Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc. (A) Able to access all areas of the jobsite including stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc. (F) Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc. (A)Must be able to move, carry, or position items weighing up to 75 pounds. (F) Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment. (F) Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels. (O) Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. (F) Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations. (O) Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day. (A) Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. (A) Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items, to walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. (F) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. (A) Qualifications 5+ years of experience in project management Bachelor's degree in either construction management, civil engineering, or architecture Experience with Procore software would be a plus but is not required.
