Field Service Engineer 1

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer 1 to perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on imaging equipment in the Little Rock area. The role involves working alongside experienced engineers, learning service repair techniques, and delivering customer satisfaction across ultrasound and X-ray modalities.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-time preventative maintenance, field modification instructions, and instrument service bulletins
• Assist experienced engineers with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and service repairs on designated modalities
• Communicate with customers to ensure resolution, follow-up, and satisfaction; recommend value-added services
• Maintain service logs, internal records, manage parts ordering, and handle administrative responsibilities
• Answer service calls independently within one year; identify sales leads and support revenue programs

Requirements

• Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-call including weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs frequently; bend, stoop, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Good hand and finger dexterity; color, close, distance, and peripheral vision
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; must pass background check and drug screening; comply with customer access policies and immunization requirements
