Responsibilities Responsible for Security Functions at Valley Sites Access Control for Site and Creating/Managing Access Badges CCTV Monitoring Commercial Vehicle Screening Foot Patrols Fire System Inspections Maintain Security Logs Escort Personnel Crowd Control and Traffic Control Document Incidents and Reports Conduct Safety/Security Inspections Coordinate Emergency Services Execute Crisis Management Plan Respond to Alarms and Requests for Help and Assist in Evacuations Drills Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent 3 Years security / law enforcement / military experience Must possess or obtain BSIS Guard Card at start date Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs Must be available to work/rotate to all shifts/sites (day/swing/grave) as needed Note: College degree in relevant field of study may be considered in lieu of years of service.
