QC Microbiology Lab Support Technician (Sun - Wed)
$18 - $23.5 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a QC Microbiology Lab Support Technician to perform environmental monitoring, sample collection, and utility testing in a GMP manufacturing facility. The role includes laboratory operations support, inventory management, and basic microbial identification work on a Sunday-Wednesday evening shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform environmental monitoring of GMP manufacturing and process areas
- Collect samples from high-purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems
- Track samples and test results using LIMS and maintain laboratory supply inventory
- Support equipment maintenance coordination, calibration activities, and laboratory readiness
- Conduct basic microbial identification, media acceptance testing, and assist with team training
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Life Sciences or Microbiology
- Environmental monitoring experience preferred
- Microbial identification procedure knowledge
- LIMS experience preferred
- Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong organizational, computer, and scientific skills
- Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
Compensation: $18.00–$23.50 per hour based on degree and experience
