Support Desk Technician

Support Desk TechnicianComplete Network is looking for a support desk technician with an Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science or IT and two to five years of experience. This is a level 1-2 support desk position troubleshooting a variety of desktop support issues. The candidate must have strong technical and communication skills. Day-to-day duties will include remote and on-site technical support for our customers. Candidate must have an entrepreneurial attitude and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Candidate must possess the following skills and experience:Good personality - Able to interact with and support customers while maintaining a friendly attitudeHighly organizedExcellent time management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong search engine and research capabilitiesWindows System Administration in a distributed environment - Desktop and ServerActive Directory AdministrationApplication Support and AdministrationAnti-virus administration and malware remediationBackup and recovery softwareTroubleshooting of hardware and OS issuesMobile device supportNetworking concepts and hardwareFamiliarity with network cablingUnderstanding TCP/IP NetworkingManaging switches, routers, and firewallsWireless networksRemote-access and site-to-site VPNAny of the following skills and/or certifications are a plus:Microsoft Windows ServerMicrosoft ExchangeCisco IOS and/or ASA firewallLinuxVMwareSQLOther Requirements:Candidate must be willing to work overtime and be on call.Candidate must have reliable transportation as there is local travel required.Candidate must be able to work from home.Benefits include health insurance, cell phone allowance, and retirement plan.
