Job Responsibilities:
- Operates machines similar to punch press, CNC, lathe, laser, saw
- Completes equipment/product set-ups
- Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment as required
- Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments necessary to bring product to spec
- Participates in quality improvement process of machine operations
- Participates in planning of work to meet predetermined deadlines
- Operates manual bending machine
- Completes equipment/product set-ups
Physical Demands:
- Obtain materials from production line
- Insert metal parts inside machine repeatedly throughout shift
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Product Quality:
- Responsible for the proper manufacture of the product specified
- Records the product attribute data as required
- Involved in the continuing process to improve product and process quality
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience required and mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to write or print clearly and record product data as required
- Measure product attributes as required by product specifications
- Responsible for the proper manufacture of the product specified
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to follow direction both verbal and written
