JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates machines similar to punch press, CNC, lathe, laser, saw
• Completes equipment/product set-ups
• Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment as required
• Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments necessary to bring product to spec
• Participates in quality improvement process of machine operations
• Participates in planning of work to meet predetermined deadlines
• Operates manual bending machine
• Completes equipment/product set-ups

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Obtain materials from production line
• Insert metal parts inside machine repeatedly throughout shift
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

PRODUCT QUALITY:

• Responsible for the proper manufacture of the product specified
• Records the product attribute data as required
• Involved in the continuing process to improve product and process quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manufacturing experience required and mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to write or print clearly and record product data as required
• Measure product attributes as required by product specifications
• Responsible for the proper manufacture of the product specified
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to follow direction both verbal and written
