Here’s What You’ll Do The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well‑being. Direct Support Professionals act as advocates to improve the overall quality of life for our clients. Essential Functions Outline and prepare daily routines for clients (visual and active) as written in the Individual Program Plan. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients’ undergarments and/or clothing as needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up. Pick up/drop off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility when necessary. Education and Experience Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (must be obtained within first 12 months of hire) Registered Behavior Technician Certificate – RBT (must be obtained within first 12 months of hire) First Aid/CPR & CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention (preferred or willing to obtain) At least 21 years of age. California Driver’s License. Successful completion of all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
