Accounts Payable Coordinator

Entry Level Accountant

The Entry Level Accountant will help Accounts Payable tasks and associated reports and accounting entries. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in general accounting, as well as with accounts payable or accounts receivable experience. They will be an integral part of the team in supporting out daily process and routines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the team process accounts payables.
• Collect and record daily data
• Assist and help with accounts receivables
• Prepare Journal entry when necessary
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
• Ability to multi-task
• Basic Excel skills

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years minimum experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
• 5 years minimum experience in accounting, including payables

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
