Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to patients in a mental health setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mental health status and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Develop and review care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and relevant state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
• Strong assessment and patient care skills in a psychiatric setting.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications, interventions, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
