Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized measures and observational methods.

Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and extended communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.

Conduct personalized speech therapy sessions centered on communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and families to build effective care strategies.

Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress outside clinical environments.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring seamless continuity in patient care.

Document patient interactions promptly and accurately in compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Engage in continuing education and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized and accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

CCC-SLP certification from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-informed treatment modalities across various age groups, along with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired communication, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Flexibility in adapting therapeutic approaches to accommodate unique cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Acute clinical judgment paired with problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
