• Start Date: 07/31/2026
• End Date/Duration: Ongoing with potential permanent placement
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm (Work until last chemo/biotherapy is completed; rotation call on Saturdays 8 am noon approximately once every 3 months)
• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment Type: Locum-to-perm opportunity
• Licensure/Certs: Current Nurse Practitioner license, BLS required
• Experience: 3-5 years in Hematology/Oncology

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour
• Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You ll Do:

• Manage a full panel of hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Provide treatment planning, follow-up visits, and new patient assessments
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment options
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
• Rotate call coverage on Saturdays (8 am noon) approximately every three months

What You Need:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana
• 3-5 years of Hematology/Oncology experience
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of chemotherapy procedures and patient management
