Job Description:
As a Generator Installation Technician at MPE Services , you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have reliable power backup systems in place. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, inspecting, and maintaining generators of various sizes and brands.
- Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and accurate installation.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Conducting load testing and ensuring generators meet performance specifications.
- Safely operating hand and power tools to complete installation tasks.
- always Complying with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Keeping detailed records of installation and maintenance work.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing client questions and concerns.
- Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in electrical systems is a plus.
- Certified Generac Generator Installer (preferred)
- Proven experience in generator installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols.
