Pediatric Geneticist

Job Summary The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a full‑time non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor for the Edwards Family Division of Genetics and Rare Diseases. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. The role involves clinical practice in general genetics/dysmorphology, inborn errors of metabolism, neurofibromatosis, skeletal dysplasia, connective tissue disorders, and lysosomal storage disorders. Clinical practice occurs at the main hospital and/or outreach sites. The candidate will also engage in clinical research trials and help develop new clinical and training programs. Responsibilities Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows within the division. Participate in the described clinical programs and research activities. Qualifications Hold an M.D. or D.O., be board certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics, and be eligible for licensure in Illinois. Compensation Base pay range: $220,000 – $233,560. Final salary will be determined by experience, qualifications, departmental budget, internal comparators, and external market pay.
